A Quick Heads-Up for Drivers: When following Google Maps, make sure to turn RIGHT at [Name of Landmark / Turning Point] directly off the main road in town. Google Maps likes to play tricks and redirect people down a side road that leads straight to a dead end!

Keep it comfy!

Wear whatever makes you feel good, looks nice, and lets you eat comfortably and hit the dance floor.

A Quick Palette Note: Please leave white and black for the bride and groom, and skip blue altogether for the day!

Having you there to celebrate with us is honestly the best gift we could ask for!

But if you really want to give us something, we wouldn't say no to a contribution towards our honeymoon fund or setting up our home together.

Snippets from our journey to the aisle

Virtual Wooing (April 2024)

Asel slid into Nileshi's Instagram DMs with a bold pitch: claims of elite household chore skills. (Spoiler: It was a total lie. He cannot, in fact, sweep well or trim grass).

Déjà Vu! 🤯

Early on, we discovered that both of our sets of parents have the exact same careers. Fated? Absolutely. Slightly creepy? Also yes.

The Zoo Date to Beat All Dates 🦒

Nileshi insisted on the zoo for date #1. Asel was so nervous he basically ignored her to read enclosure signs out loud.

He redeemed himself that night with a book-related surprise at a fancy restaurant—leaving Nileshi feeling very overwhelmed and low-key self-conscious that she smelled like a zebra.

Unofficial Barista Ambassadors ☕

Since we got together during Nileshi's final year of uni, a bulk of our dates were spent at Barista. Asel dotingly sat by her side while she drowned in design projects.

Today, we pride ourselves on having visited an absurdly high number of Barista outlets across Sri Lanka!

Mawiage! 💍

While our Poruwa ceremony and big celebration are set for August 28th, 2026, we officially registered our marriage on July 2nd, 2026—signing our certificate right on the balcony of Nileshi's childhood home.
